I thought you guys may be interested to look at another layout design created
with Publisher 2000.
I placed the original release files on a temporary URL since the actual site
unfortunately no longer exists because this business ceased trading late last
year or early this year.
The aesthetics may not be to everyone’s taste but while the methodology
applied here doesn’t differ much from other sites, the layout concept does
and it may well be achievable in Publisher 2003 and 2007.
It may also inspire users of late versions of Publisher with a modicum of
experience in web design to experiment with presentation style.
The site is best viewed with Internet Explorer and in full screen mode
(press F11). As usual, Firefox ignores some functions. I’ve no idea if it
ever worked with Safari, or if Safari even existed at the time the site was
published. Note also that the gif movie-clip on the front page takes 2-3
minutes to download with ISDN connections (no delay with ADSL, of course).
