Another Office 2007 1402 error with a difference

Hello, I am getting the same 1402 error that others are getting. it
started with hkey_local_machine\software\classes\.doc
\persistenthandler then the same with .dot when I changed the
permissions.

Now I am getting one for hkey_local_machine\software\classes\.ics, and
when I select the key, I get an "Error Opening Key - Cannot open .ics:
Error opening key" and when I go to permissions I get "you do not have
permission to view the current permission settings for .ics but you
can make persmission changes." and when I make a change and click
apply I get "Unable to save permissions on .ics. Permission is denied"

Windows XP SP2 and I am an administrator.
