Another Office Update Question

L

Larry Newton

I am running FrontPage 2002 on a Windows 2000 machine. When I run the SP3
update, I am prompted for the CD Key (which it does not accept, even though
my program was installed correctly, registered and everything), then I'm
prompted for the Microsoft Office FrontPage for XP disc. Obviously, I don't
have this disc, since I'm not running XP. The required file is missing
(proplus.msi) from my machine and I can't locate it anywhere on my operating
system or program discs.

Why isn't my CD key recognized? Am I being prompted for the correct CD?

Thanks!

If you read the prompt more carefully, you will see that it is asking
for the "Microsoft Office XP Professional with Front Page" CD. It would
appear that your copy of FrontPage 2002 was installed from such a CD.
