Another program is trying to access...

Since installing security update 3 I get the warning
message "another program is trying to access..." with the
choice of allowing or denying access. This happens (1)
when sending and receiving mail, and (2) when composing a
new mail item. If I deny access Outlook stops responding
and I must shut it down and restart it.

The warnings all apprear to be false alarms but there
seems to be no way to identify the program that is
causing them. As a result the warnings, like the boy who
cried 'wolf' are ignored.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

I use C++ to automate Outlook, glean items from the calendar and generate a
report. This program has been running on Outlook 2000 but we now need to
support Outlook 2003. Each time I access a calender item I get the warning.
Is there an easy way to disable this or get around it? Registry hack?
There isn't necessarily someone sitting at the computer so ClickYes or
something similar might not work too well.
Thanks in advance.
