Another Question on Task Types

D

Don

I am trying to understand how Task Type works. Are there any circumstances
under which Task Type settings behave exactly the same way, regardless of how
you change a task? I set the default task type in the Tools, Options,
Schedule Tab and saved my work. Then on a set of tasks, I changed the task
type and increased and decreased the three variables-- units, work, and
duration. What happened was that as I made the changes, MS Project gave me
the same messages regardless of what I did. Maybe I don't have something set
correctly, but I can't figure out what!

Hi,

We try to specialize and know as much as possible on MS Project but only
very few uf us are clairvoyant.
I'm afraid "the same messages" is not a very helpful clue into helping you.
