A
Angel
I seem to periodically (every few months) run into this issue again, and the
fix I used last time never works with the new issue. Here I go again.
I am using Outlook 2007 with Windows XP. I can receive messages but cannot
send, I am repeatedly prompted for my network password although my Outlook
and my internet settings are set to remember it. I have followed all of the
suggestions in the knowledge base article 290684, from creating a new Outlook
profile to modifying the Protected Storage System Provider subkey in the
registry, but the problem persists. I have also followed a previous posters
advice and checked that my registry has all of the files it's supposed to in
the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders.
Before I go bald from pulling out my hair, please help me if you can.
Thanks!
