....and again; apologies if its in the wrong category
So ive created a db and im about to split it into a FE and BE as ive done
before. the difference this time around is i have a coworker in another city
who needs access to it. She would only ever "write" to one of the many
tables in the db and would "read" the rest...
The reason i mention this is coz ive read several threads on sharing a db on
many users have said sharing across a WAN is not worth it though im still
unsure of WHY - im guessing due to corruption of data? If this is the reason
then the fact that she would mainly view data and not write to it should
surely make it an option?
or no?
