Another SQL & Infopath Question...

M

Michael Sainz

Hey all,
Got good luck here getting some information, so now I need more...heh.

I'm attempting to create a simple ordering system and I'm finding that
Infopath makes it look nice and easy for the customers. I have created a
table named Orders and OrderDetails for each line transaction. They link
together just fine. But when I try and add the table Customers to the Main
data connection, it says that I cannot submit the form anymore due to a
"many to one relationship". I'm not trying to submit Customer data to the
Customer table, just query things like billing address and such.

So I was thinking, add the Customer table as a secondary data connection
since your only querying it stuff from it. Here is my problem. I can't seem
to figure out a way to have Customer Names populate a dropdown control, and
fill in label controls with the corresponding data.

Any help is much appreciated,

Michael
