Another way to open an Outlook email besides 'mailto'

I'd like to be able to open an Outlook email message on the client and
pre-populate the body with more than 2000 characters of html text. I don't
believe that I can do it using a mailto link. Is there another way?

You only option is a mailto link and you will not be able to insert HTML unless you really want to
see the html tags within the text. Also user may have their Email Application set to only see text
emails.

And they may not use Outlook. Or they may not have an email client installed
at all..
