Answer to message shows only in autopreview.

Hi, could someone help me?

A message is in Inbox. Inbox has autopreview on (not the preview
pane). In autopreview I see the beginning of an answer to the original
message but when I open the message by doubleclicking, the answer is
not seen on the message?
The message is in HTML format. Outlook version is 2002.
We have Exchange server and the email has arrived from an external
address.
Could the sender have an email program that could cause this or is the
problem in outlook? How could I see the whole answer?
