Answered 'No' to "revert to saved..." question. How can I get it back?

MS Word 200
I opened an existing document ( a protected form - if it matters), cancelled the protection, edited the form saving every now and then under a new filename
After I finished editing I reenacted the form protection and saved the document, and sent it by email from Word
The guy who received it wrote back asking where are the changes
I then went to open the document from my HD, and the system asked me if I want to revert to the saved document
Not suspecting that there was any problem, I answered 'No' and then found to my horror that only part of the changes I made were in the document
How can I now revert to the saved document that I was referred to? If the system offered me to open it, then it must be there somewhere???

Thanks
Jeremy

The 'revert to saved' message means that when you tried to open the
document, you already had a copy open somewhere (so re-opening the document
would discard any changes you'd made to the open copy). By saying 'no' you
haven't lost anything, although by the sounds of it you might have a problem
with the saved version. Anyway, best strategy at this point is to do a
SaveAs to save the open version under a new name, then close Word, re-start,
and check the version saved to your hard disk and compare with the SaveAs
version. If you have 'always create a backup' checked, then look at the
backup version also.

Thanks Jezebel, but it didn't make any change
Looks like I'll have to do the work all over again (I didn't have the backup box checked.... Now it is :) )
