Any alternatives to excel?

Hi,

Excel appears to be limited to just over 1,000,000 rows which is a
confounded nuisance. Are there any alternatives to excel which can
accommodate 100 million rows?

You should be thinking about a database program if you have that many
rows of data, eg Access.

Hmph . .don't seem to have access included. Never used a database. Are
they like spreadsheets except you can't do mathematical operations and have
more rows? Any free ones on the net which don't require any knowledge of
java or anything else?
