Any help with Excel Toolbar?

I'll admit, I'm not a good Excel user, or google searcher, so I'm hopin
someone can help me.

If you have a google toolbar, you customize it, then use it, but clos
excel and reopen it and it goes back to how it was before....? Is thi
normal or is this something I can fix? The file it creates i
excel10.xlb in the documents and settings\username\applicatio
data\microsoft\excel directory.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks!!

Normally any changes you make to your Excel toolbars are saved in your XLB
file and restored when Excel starts up again. I'm not familiar with a
Google toolbar within Excel and I don't know how it would be different. Are
you able to restore other customizations?

Off thread, apologies.

I just had to ask, been seeing your name since I started reading this
newsgroup a few months ago.

Are you the same Jim Rech who wrote (I think it was) The Range
Utilities for Lotus Symphony?

That was me. A long time ago, in years and in "spreadsheets". I don't have
much reason to use Symphony any more but what I was able to do with Lotus
add-ins is simply not possible with Excel (for me anyway). Thanks for
asking.<g>

I only moved into the 21st century recently, finally gave up my OS/2 system,
where I was still using Symphony fairly often.

I have to say this new technology is pretty slick, but thanks for making the
90's a bit easier for me!
