If memory serves, the SQL Error 53 and 17 indicate a rights issue
between Project Server and SQL. I don't think it has anything to do
with the method of connection. In my office, we use wired and wireless
connections. An hour ago, I went from a wired connect to a wireless
connect with both Project Pro and PWA open, and seamlessly continued to
use them in a wireless environment with a "good" signal.

Assuming both session were tested on the same domain with the same logon
credentials, then I'd look to a port issue on the wireless network. Perhaps
someone has locked down port 1433?
