## Any shortcut to kill space ##

W

Wai

Product: MS Word 2002
Sometimes I have to deal with some contents of my
language which are like the following:

There are unnecessary spaces in between the characters.
I would like to delete them in a fast way.

Is there any shortcut to kill space?
[Please tell me step-by-step if possible, thanks !!]

Use the Find and Replace:

Press Ctrl+H to display the dialog box.
Press the spacebar twice in the 'Find what' box
<space><space>.
In the 'Replace with' box press the spacebar once <space>.
Click on 'Replace All'.
Run this a few times until 0 changes are made.

What you are doing is looking for two spaces and replacing
with one space. You could, of course, look for three
spaces, four spaces, etc.

My suggestion is play about with it.

Regards,

Russ
