Any suggestions?

Hi,

I get the following message when I try to access the
database. Does anyone happen to have any suggestions? The
access application is closed so there is no contention
between my application and Access. Does anyone happen to
have any ideas?



The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the
file 'c:\quikstart.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively
by another user, or you need permission to view its data

Sounds like the database was not closed in a normal fashion.

See if there is a file named c:\quikstart.ldb. If you see it, delete it,
and then try opening the mdb.
