Running Entourage 11.3.5 on an OS 10.4.9 MacBook Pro. Assistant is on
west coast creating appointments for someone on the east coast. The
easiest way to maintain the integrity of the appointments is to leave
this laptop on East Coast time, and to set the default appointments
for East Coast time. Problem is, when setting up appointments for
when the person is on the west coast, the calendar displays the west
coast appointments in the current time zone. For example, an
appointment is created in Pacific time for 10:30, but displays on the
calendar as 1:30. If you double-click on the appointment, it opens
and says the correct 10:30 time, with the stipulation at the top that
the appointment is created for Pacific time, and the computer is
currently set to Eastern time.
Is there a way to set the calendar view to show the appointments at
the local time in which they start, even if that time zone differs
from the current time zone of the computer? So in the previous
example, the Pacific time 10:30 appointment will display in the
calendar at 10:30, rather than 1:30?
Please advise...
