Any way to create custom/user defined charts in Excel 08?

In Excel 04, I was able to save custom/user defined charts with the color and
font schemes that I want to use on a regular basis. I haven't figured out
how to do this in Excel 08, short of setting up Automator to change
everything on command. Any idea if I can just create a custom chart template
to use in Excel 08, or is this another dropped feature?

Color and fonts can be applied using themes. See Help for details on
creating custom themes

I have the same problem -- it's not just colors I want to save, but line sizes, data symbols, axis scale... Is there any way to save a user-defined chart in Excel 08?
