Any way to customize the Sales Stages in Business Contact Manager?

Trying to maximize BCM

This is a really great tool, but I would like to use this to keep track of
other things (Opportunities) than Sales. Can I rename, or create additional
stages than the ones that came with the original setup?

Perhaps even build my own form for use within Business Contact Manager?

Any help or guidance would be great!
