Any way to download a large "general" clipart library?

With Office 97, I was able to download a very large clipart folder (900+mb)
when installing the program, and it was very nice not having to insert the
disc or deal with the internet. Is it possible to do this with Office
2003? I suppose they don't have that type of data base on the disks (I
couldn't find it anyway), since they are relying more on the web interface,
but I can't find out where, on the web site, to download a large "general"
library. What is the point of having an 80 GB disk if you can't use it! :0)

All at one time? If there is a download there for a large, general
collection, I am not finding it. I know I can go through and select a page
at a time (which would be time consuming), and I heard there was a limit per
visit, meaning even more time. If I am missing a single download for a
large db, let me know!

You are correct in noting that there's a maximum of 120 clips per selection
basket.

Microsoft does not offer any large clipart database downloads (in excess of
3.5mb), although other providers on the internet might.

I am considering simply buying a cd full of clipart and loading it into the
Clipart Manager or somewhere else that 2003 will look. My concern is that
someone told me that I could not even do this with the old 2000 clipart
since 2003's search capabilities will only work with its own clipart "tags".
Maybe worth a shot, anyway.

Correct, though most third-party collections of Clipart include their own
search mechanisms.

However, if you get ahold of the "Office XP Media CD" which came with that
product, you can install 25000 clips from our website into Clip Organizer
itself.

Unfortunately, we jumped from 2000 straight to 2003, skipping XP. Is it
kosher to use the media cd from a friend if I can find someone with it?

Sadly, I'm afraid not.

Ah, thought so. Thanks for all the help. We will see how the servers go
with the adjustments you mentioned and then decide whether it is worth using
an "on board" clipart instead.
