Any way to make 2 separate reports print as the front and back of a single page?

Hi,

I have an MS access database which generates 2 reports which I would
like to make the front and back of a single page. Because the reports
both use different image backgrounds I can't merge them into a single
report. The only way I can see this working on a duplex printer is if
the print jobs for the first and second page are sent to the printer as
a single print job. Anyone have any recommendations / suggestions on
how I can print these 2 reports as the front and back of a single page?
Any advice that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

George Hadley

Hi GHadley - Sorr, I'm not quite sure what you mean by front and back end of
a single page, but it sounds like what you want is to use Sub Reports. Start
with a blank report, make sure your Toolbar is selected, then click on the
SubForm/SubReport icon. Select the Reports you've already created and place

Create a new blank unbound report and add your two reports
as subreports.

If you use the Page Header/Footer sections in your existing
reports, you will have to use an alternative since
subreports ignore those sections. If at all feasible, move
the page header/footer controls to the main report's page
header/footer. If needed, you can simulat a page header in
a subreport by creating a top level group header with its
RepeatSection property set to Yes.

I had tried making the subreports in a unbound report - and while the
data fields show up, the background images of each of the subreports
does not display - any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?

Sorry, but I do not use images so can not even guess what
the issue might be. For all I know images might not work in
subreports, so maybe you are not doing anything wrong. Can
you try moving the image to the main report???
