Any way to remove numbering from a style programmatically?

Is there a simple way to remove outline numbering applied
to a style?

Is there a programatical equivalent for going into the
Bullet, Number or Outline List Gallery and selecting NONE ?

Re-define the style (Format>Style>Modify) so that it does not include the
numbers.

Try the .LinkToListTemplate method on the style, with ListTemplate:= Nothing

Thank you both for your suggestions.

I'm going to try setting Listtemplate:=Nothing to see if
that works. If it works, the code needed to do that (I
hope) will be less than recording the Format > Style

Modify process in Word.
