anybody have this network problem or know how to fix?

I have a regular, recurring problem with a software application that
uses a MS Access db. When I try to open the application it tells me
that "You do not have the necessary permissions to use the
<path>AccessDatabaseName.mdb object. Have your system admin or the
person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions
for you." However, I can open the file without problem in Microsoft
Access application. This is Windows XP network.

This problem resolves itself without any intervention on my part by
the next day. Any idea as to what's happening is appreciated.

One test to narrow it down. See what happens when you apen the fiel (and
Access) via. a shortcut to the db.

Or maybe yo are already doing that (vs. opening Access and then the db)
