anyone been able to load office 2003 junk mail filter KB914454?

this update came thru from automatic updates, but just will not install. have
tried downloading several times with same result on 2 different computers -
installation failed. an error message was sent to Microsoft. is there a known
problem with this fix ? thank you

No, it has failed on all 3 of my PCs and on a friend's PC as well (he
doesn't use Outlook but he does have it installed). Maybe someone will have
some word Monday on what to do. The only fix I have found is to uninstall
Office and reinstall it from scratch! Not a good solution!

Today Junk Mail Filter update, and last month's did not install on my
home machine or the 65 machines at work.

It's a joke. I did the "support" think with MS last month, and they
wanted me to uninstall and reinstall Outlook 2003! Right, take a hike.
With what are likely unknown thousands of their users unable to install
this update, who much sense does it make that the users have a problem,
and NOT MS and their patches?

Somehow, I doubt I'll ever see a Junk Filter update install again. Too
bad...time for a 3rd-party anti-spam product, I guess.

Since i wrote this i have uninstalled and reiistalled Office 2003. thr junk
filter then loaded
