Anyone have actual examples of why they get Groove Server?

I have a client that is interested in Groove but he wants to know why he
would want to go with Groove Server instead of just the Groove Clients.

The company does consulting with various State agencies across the US. They
need a project collaboration tool for 2-5 company personel that will also
interface with up to 20 State agency personel. The company may have up to 4
of these type of projects going on at any one time. Some people within the
company may work on multiple projects.

I would really like to hear of some actual examples of why we should or
should not get Groove Server.

Thanks.
