Anyone know about Entourage and Newsgroups?

I have no experience with Macs and have an internet friend who wants to
use newsgroups, and I'm trying to help her by e-mail.

I got the information from Earthlink [her ISP] on setting up newsgroups,
and she thinks she got the news server account setup correctly in
Entourage, but there's no information there about how to subscribe to
the newsgroups she wants. Where can she find that information... or
does she need *another* program to read newsgroups?

I will appreciate any help or direction to where I can find this info to
help her. TIA...

There is a Subscribe button at the top of the page. See directions here for
how to subscribe to the Entourage newsgroup. This would apply to any
newsgroup.

There is a Subscribe button at the top of the page. See directions here for
how to subscribe to the Entourage newsgroup. This would apply to any
newsgroup.

Does this apply to newsgroups other than Microsoft's? In other words,
if she has her Earthlink Account to their usenet server set up properly,
will she be able to click on that account in her Folders list, and a
list of newsgroups to subscribe to will appear?

Yes, the subscribe button is for all newsgroups.
