Anyone know about HDW forums?

This hardly the newsgroup to ask
hardware questions, but I can't
seem to find one that fits questions
regarding the addition of a 2nd
IDE hard drive to my system. (I
did post one on an Intel group,
but it seems to be more for other
types of problems?)

Anyone know where I can get
some information about adding
2nd hard drives where the drive
will not auto-detect?

From the website of the manufacturer of the hardware (of the disk drive, not
Intel)? From a USENET newsgroup (they cover a much, much broader range of
subject matter than the microsoft.public newsgroups -- something over
100,000 different subjects, in fact)? Or use your favorite search engine and
search words of "disk drive install" asking for a match on all three?

Great suggestion! I found some meaningful
documentation at Seagate from which I was
able to solve my problem.
