Anyone know how save custom paper size?

I asked this before, without answer, but it's worth trying again.

Does anyone know how to save a custom paper size, so it shows up in the
PAPER SIZE drop down??

I know I succeeded in doing this arcane thing before, I see my name at the
bottom of that list, but I can't remember how I did it.

I've looked again and again at page set up, custom size, and do not see
anything for saving the setting. Thanks!!!!!!

The Page Setup dialog's Paper Size pane is an OSX feature, not a Word
feature. Check out Mac Help's "Choosing a custom paper size" topic.

Note that not all printers support named custom paper sizes.

JE:
I tried two of my printers and even, "any printer", and I cannot find the
"new" button that the help describes-- after you choose custom size.

You might try using the Preset function in the print dialog. After setting
up your custom paper size, save it as a preset for your printer, and when
you want to use that paper size again, you just select the preset for it.

This should work:

On the Menu bar - File, Page Setup
In the Page Setup Window, Settings pull down menu select
"Custom Paper Size"
Click on "New" to create new definition
You can specify Paper height & width;
Print Margins top, bottom, left, right
After you save & name the definition
it will appear on the Page Setup, Paper Size pull down menu

Hope this helps
