Anyone running a presentation in a screensaver?

We want to use our company's network to show a presentation (like a
bulliten board of events) which loops continuously to let people know
what's going on. Our idea was to have it run as a screensaver so if
people weren't using their pc, the info presentation would run.

I'm using an application called Groones RunScreen to run PPT viewer as
a screensaver. The presentation links 4 or 5 separate presentations.

Everything works GREAT! except I was hoping the 'screensaver' would
terminate on a mouse move or key touch (like a regular screensaver).
Unfortunately I have to hit ESC 4 or 5 x to terminate the PPT loop.

Any other ideas/programs to run a presentation as a screensaver?

If you are using Win XP as the operating system, I think the easiest way
would be to use the system's built-in "Slideshow" screensaver. Save your
presentation slides in an image file format (JPG, PNG) and have the
slideshow-screensaver use them.

Can you not combine all 4/5 presentations into one big one?

I did this to solve the 'hit escape 4 or 5" times.

New problem. Since the presentation would be running of a couple dozen
pc's at any given time, would couldn't up date the presentation
(locked). We solved this by copying the master to their pc when the
screensaver/presentation launched. The master is never being used
(unless being modified by another manager)

The application is working great. We're importing web pages with
real-time company stock quotes and price charts. Running vidoes.

We had everything in place for a company news network. Just needed an
idea and some effort. Anyone wanna buy a cork bulliten board?
