Anyone using Expression Web - Help!

I'm revamping an existing web site built in Front Page with Expression Web.
I chose Expression because I liked the CSS capability. After building just
the header in Expression I published the page, and viewed in it IE and
Firefox. I guess I shouldn't really be surprised, but IE displays just
fine. FireFox on the other hand does not display as built! I search MSN
for a workaround and I found that they suggest using TABLES - yes, TABLES to
display various elements.
There must be another way to assure that the pages I build will display as
well in FireFox and they do in IE!

It is impossible to diagnose rendering problems without seeing the page.
A link will help.

If you use a valid and complete !doctype (Expression Web defaults to a
valid and complete XHTML transitional !doctype, FrontPage has incomplete
!doctypes in the Code Snippets) and use valid code, avoid VML graphics
(FrontPage text boxes, WordArt and other objects from the drawing
toolbar), avoid absolute positioning - there should be few problems.
