Ok, I know you can change the frequency at which the Exchange server
generates the OAB and I have done this. Changing it from once at 4AM to
every 4 hours. Our office is small, only 40 employees, so the increased load
is very minimal.
Now my problem is getting the clients to automatically check for this
updated book more often. All the literature I could find shows that Outlook
checks for a new book automatically once every 24 hours. You can manually
have the client check by clicking the Send/Receive button. But I was
wondering if there is a way to have Outlook automatically check more often,
like every 5 hours or so.
