On a stand alone lap top I have an access DB. When I try to open it I get an
error message
'AOindex' is not an idex in this table
The DB will not normally open in normal or design mode
So I have copied the DB and used the module on Allen Brown' s site - which I
think was written by Dirk Goldgar - many thanks to both - which has fixed the
problem
http://allenbrowne.com/ser-47.html#AOIndexIsNotAnIndex
BUT - I did manange to get into the original DB via the registry folder and
spent some time going through the tables and can't find any problems.
Has anyone any ideas where the problem may be - all the table ID are
autonumbers and I have run a number of querys on these and they seem to be
fine.
I have backups from each day so can use this - but would rather know the
reason for the problem just in case it comes back
I have googled this but no luck so any ideas would be helpful
