AOL errors with Outlook 2003

Sometimes, but not always, when I reply to an AOL email address I get a
problem with Outlook 2003. What happens is that there is a long hang-up and
then an error message reads:

“MS Word 2003 is set to be your email editor. However, Word is unavailable,
not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The Outlook email
editor will be used instead.â€

The only way to get back to using MS Word as my email editor is to re-boot
Windows.
