AOL Hometown and Frontpage

I want to update my pages that I created on AOL Hometown with easy designer. I'm told this can be done.

Download the files to a folder on your HD using a FTP application, then open
the folder in FP.

I have done this but everytime I try to open the pages it tries to sign me online. I have one page built and I'm trying to upload it through AOL FTP without any luck. I'm pretty new to this THANK YOU

Where are you trying to open the web from, the folder you downloaded the
page to via FTP or directly on the AOL or you trying to upload the page via
FP to AOL?
