aol imap and outlook

we have the aol email imap set up, ,however our problem is that the client
wants to have two pc's pulling email from aol via imap. when one pc is on the
network, there isnt much of a problem, email seems to check ok. when we add
the second pc (using a different aol email address) it freaks aol out. It is
synching all folders in the mailbox...inbox, outbox, spambox... is there a
fix for this? Or is there a way to have outlook check the folders in
succession instead of pounding the aol server?
Thanks.

so two different computers each with a different aol address configured is
'freaking aol out'?

you can control which folders outlook checks - look in the acct properties -
and control how often it checks in send /receive settings.
