AOL Interference with Outlook

Does anyone have a problem with AOL and Outlook working together? When I
have AOL open, I am not able to send messages through Outlook. They get
stuck in the Outbox and it says they are having trouble connecting to my ISP.
I have Time Warner as my ISP. If I close the AOL program, the messages will
send in Outlook.

Very Weird. Any ideas?
