AOL Mail & Outlook

Can anyone tell me how to synchronize my AOL mail to XP
Outlook? I just installed Office XP Professional and
would rather use Outlook than AOL Mail, but would like to
synchronize them so I don't have to look in both for my
email.
Can anyone help? I am not very "Computer" savy!

Unfortunately AOL uses proprietory software for its mail and not the
universal standard of SMTP and POP so it is not compatible with Outlook or
Outlook Express.
