Hello,

I have just recently installed Office for Mac 2008. I am glad I can now make documents that are compatible with PC. However, I have a concern. I own a iBook G4 1.42.GHz 1 GB Memory. I noticed that Office 2004 ran faster than Office 2008. I assume that is normal, right? Please let me know if it is. Besides that, I am glad with the improvements.

Hi Joseph:

Thanks for posting your name: so much nicer to talk to a real person :)

That's not "normal", but it is a "bug". Some changes Apple made in OS
10.5.2 have introduced a "conflict" with Office 2008.

They will get it fixed. There's a service pack coming out in Mid March, and
just recently you should have gotten an update to your Office Automatic
Update in preparation for that.

We hope that will fix this issue, and that in future Office 2008 will beat
the pants off the iBook. Well... Ummm... it should be a little quicker than
the iBook :)

Cheers
