API for deleteing a TASK in Project server 2003

Hi,

I was going through the PDS API of MS project server 2003.I came across
API for creating a TASK but could not find any for Deleting or Updating
an existing TASK.

Do we have any API for Deleting /Updating a Task or is there any Work
Arround.kindly Suggest.
