API Programming for Inactivity

Hello,

I'm looking for some API code to determine when a computer has been inactive
for a period. I want to drive this off the keyboard and mouse so basically
like a how a screen saver activates.

Has anyone got any VBA code that would allow me to do this or can point me
toward some clues?
