Append query error

I am trying to create an append query which will update a
table in different Access database. The tables in the
original Access database are imported from Oracle. When I
run the append queries for sum of the tables I am getting
an error message "Invalid argument".
Any ideas what can I do with this?

It would help if you posted your SQL string, so we could see what you
are trying to do, and how you are trying to accomplish it.
