Appending Catalog Merge Pages

I am trying to print a directory that has 5.5 x 8.5 pages. I uses 5 catalog
merge templates that define different page layouts. When I try to append
these to make complete the directory book, I get a message that says
Publisher unable to do it?

Any ideas about how I can combine pages that are layed out in different
formats into one book? I also need the pages numbered...A Table of Contents
page would be help helpful also... thanks for comments...

What version Publisher? If you look at step 5 (2003) or step 3 (2007) there is
the option to add the current publication to another publication.
Once you have all the directory together you can add page numbers and edit the
way you'd like the publication to look.

You will have to create a TOC manually, Publisher does support this feature. You
maybe better off doing your directory in Word.
