Appendix Captions in template

Hi, I am creating a template for several folks to use. I have set up all the
numbering and creating Table_Apx and Figure_Apx for tables and figures in the
appendices. When someone uses the template they can not see Table_Apx and
Figure_Apx to use. Is there a way that the users of the template can see
these types of captions in the caption box? Thanks, Karen

Unfortunately, captions live in Normal.dot, not in your template.

Karen:

You could add your caption labels using VBA if you like. This could run
every time a document based on your template was created or opened. It would
run in the background -- the user wouldn't be aware of it (aside from
security warnings if you put the macro in the wrong place.)
