Apple Mail doesn't export old messages to Entourage 2008

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

I was able to successfuly export my accounts from Apple Mail to Entourage as well as the contacts list. Entourage receives and sends new mail correctly.

However, I had about 70 saved emails in Apple mail which did not transfer into Entourage. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Have you tried drag-and-drop? Just drag the mail messages from Mail to the
Desktop. Then drag them directly onto the message list in an Entourage
window. It seems to work on my machine.

If it fails when you drag into Entourage, try holding down the Command
(Apple) and Option keys and dragging onto the Entourage Dock icon.

Thanks for the response, but drag and drop doesn't seem to work. i have 150 old messages, which i can drag to another location within Apple Mail, but when i drag to Entourage, nothing moves.

Have you tried drag-and-drop? Just drag the mail messages from Mail to the

It worked for me using Mail in Leopard. Try dragging them to a folder on
your computer's Desktop, and then drag them from the Desktop onto the
Entourage icon.

Thanks Mickey,

It works but only for one file at a time. When I try to move even two files, it will not drag. Is there a setting which may be turned off which prevents me from draging multiple files?
