Apple remote not working with power point slideshow

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have linked my remote just like I needed to, and I've read what mactopia had to say about getting it to work, tried it a few times, and my apple remote still doesnt work with powerpoint slides. But the remote works just fine for music, volume adjustments, ect. Any suggestions?

I don't think the remote works with PPT. The audio is part of the Mac system, so that's why it works. If you were using Keynote, it would work. Unfortunately, PPT is not supported
