I often write articles using Appleworks wp because it's easier to use
then convert them to Word to get them to the editor. I can convert
using Save As, but sometimes the format isn't very well preserved,
particularly if I use a graphic. I can also convert by opening the
Appleworks file with Word which does a much better job of preserving
format. The problem I have is that when I open it with Word,
spelling/grammer check doesn't work. Sometimes I get a message to go
to the Edit/Replace menu item and look for no proofing item which is
not there. I can also change the language using one of two methods,
but neither makes spellcheck available. Any hints on what I can do
within Word to make this accessible?
Thanks
