application association in bound object frame

i've got a bound object frame (bound to an OLE object) that i'm using to
store and display a .jpg file. i want to double-click on this bound object
frame and bring up a certain application (Picture It! is the app). however,
i always get photo editor. how do i change this association? changing it in
explorer has no effect. thanks for any help,
