Application Error on Save

Everytime I try to save a Word file in Office 2000, I get
the message "The application has performed an illegal
operation......." and shuts itself down.


Any ideas?

Its possible that you Normal.Dot Template has become corrupt, try deleting
it from the program files > Office folder.
