Application Error question

I was trying to access a Microsoft Word Version 6.0
document from an old computer but was unable to do so
because of the following Application Error:

Winword caused a General Protection Fault in module
Storage.DLL at 0003:32FG.

Can you advise me on how to correct this problem so I can
view the file?
