I am running Office 2000 pro. on Win2k Pro on 2 laptops. I
have enabled Spanish in my language settings and have
tried both detecting language automatically and doing it
manually. It works better when the detect language
automatically is enabled. One of 2 things happens:
1. Spanish is recognized and the mis-spelled words are
underlined. When I right click the word or run spell
check, Word crashes and disappears as if it had never been
there.
2. I keep typing in Spanish and receive an application
error - Dr. Watson log: The application,, generated an
application error. The exception generated was c0000005 at
address 0287DE59.
I have sp3 installed on these laptops. I also have tried
it on several pc's with the same specs, which work fine.
If anyone can give me any suggestions, I would appreciate
it very much. Thank you.
